Cafe Prague in Montreal

Van Horne, nice neighbourhood. Nice little bistro operated by a hospitable slick French click. They do hot meals, always a soup and parings of chlebički (open faced sandwich with well presented ingredients). The best part, Café Prague is not Czech, it is a group that does Czech well. Art deco interior, a concise nod to that city's vibe.

Remember the name if you are in Outremont. A neighborhood cafe with a simple but good menu. A safe bet. In the morning, there is no need to complicate things. Rest assured the ingredients are well chosen and homemade. The service is perfect. What more is needed!

Without doubt one of the best cafes in Montreal! An atmosphere of Parisian brasserie, a team always smiling and welcoming, excellent dishes and renewed every day! Brunch on Saturdays until 3 p.m., and if you are still hungry, pastries made by a great pastry chef !! What happiness in town. I recommend without hesitation, and without moderation! <3 You can't do Montreal without going to Prague coffee!

Cafe Prague is a small unpretentious cafe with a very pleasant atmosphere. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks until 7pm. I like to go there for lunch. The menu offers salads and sandwiches as well as several daily specials. There are usually a fish and a meat dish, as well as salads. Beer and wine are available although the wine list is limited. I like the European touch (the place is decorated with nice old pictures of Prague) and, as many people from the neighborhood, I have enjoyed the friendliness of the service. It is often very busy at lunch and recommended to reserve a table in advance.

Always awesome to pass by Café Prague. The pastries are delicious in the morning, their coffee tastes great and just had a very reasonably priced brunch that was succulent. They also quickly learn what you usually take, just a small nice touch.

Always a treat combining refinement and satisfaction of gluttony, in a European style decor. The waiters are courteous and friendly. A place to discover ... to come back regularly.

I have frequented it from the very beginning and I go back there often: the coffee is very good and the menu always different and tasty! long life at "Café Prague" and its relaxed atmosphere, I feel like in my living room!

Stop looking further, this is THE PLACE

Nice place . But it was cold In side the place, not enough heat to sustain the place, mind you it was - 26 outside. Had myself a latte it was satisfying! Pastries were very good atmosphere was decent the building looks quite old inside the ceiling needs to be repaired at the right hand side. Other than that I would definitely go back I liked it.

This is a good coffee where you can brunch and go quickly to make pastries. There is no wifi so it is not too practical if you want to go to study. It is not very big but there is still a nice cozy atmosphere.

Lots of goodies . The macaroons are delicious . Les Madeleines so tasty definitely will go back .

Best Americano in Montreal

Café Prague. Behind a storefront with designer lettering but somewhat austere hides a quiet, warm and very pleasant place. The first time I came, I don't remember having really appreciated the dish I ordered. Then, because I knew the place, I went back there months later to simply savor an espresso and a madeleine. With a good book, the place is delicious.

The kitchen was closed but there was some food, i liked this little things.

The food was extremely delicious! Way beyond my expectations or anything I've tried before.

I'm happy to find a place where I can get chlebicky. It wasn't bad, but nowhere near thr caliber of chlebicky I found in Czech Republic. The coffee was great too!

Friendly place, very good menu with local food.

Great little cafe with lovely food and nice atmosphere. We had chlebicky - tartines czechoslovakian delicacy and they were excellent. I would have expected more Czech food on display though.

I was expecting bit more from Café Prague. I hoped for tap Pilsner beer but unfortunately only canned was for sale and few open sandwiches but at least they looked tasty. Wine was french. There are little connections to Prague. Only few pictures...

Delicious food. The merveilles and soup were great. And the desserts were an absolute delight!
